Submission Guide
Authors are asked to observe the following guidelines:
1. Article length should be 20-30 pages double-spaced, not including the bibliography
2. Article must be accompanied with the following:
2.1 An abstract of 200-250 words
2.2 Author’s institutional affiliation and bio-note
2.3 Five key words
3. The manuscript must be submitted to a Word File Format (docx.) in Times New Roman, Font size 12
4. Submit your manuscript in Word file format through e-mail to: sbu.therepvblic@gmail.com
5. The University of Chicago Manual of Style, 16th Edition should provide for citations and references
Ethical Considerations
Res Pvblika is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the publication process. All submissions are expected to adhere to the following principles
Ethic of Respect: All authors, contributors, and participants must be treated with dignity, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
Consent: We ensure that all authors consent to having their work published in RES PVBLIKA, and clear communication will always precede any publication or data gathering
Authorship: The original authors will always retain credit for their work. In no manner will the Res Pvblika Editorial Board claim authorship of any of its articles.
Conflict of Interest: Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed and communicated properly between the author in question and the Editorial Board
Research Integrity: We guarantee the integrity of all work published in RES PVBLIKA, ensuring all content has been thoroughly reviewed and vetted for quality and accuracy.
Internal Confidentiality: The confidentiality of the paper trail and subsequent unpublished material will be strictly maintained.
Complaints and Appeals
In the matters of complaints regarding one’s published work, the complainant shall have full prerogative in addressing their concerns through the provided e-mail who shall thoroughly process and consult with the person of interest via the author’s preferred modality. After careful deliberation, post-publication edits shall be accompanied with flags on the article’s respective page (alongside date of original publication and edit) detailing the extent of changes. Thus, they shall be labelled as:
Slight corrections which shall be applied shortly after notice, and only encompass minor grammatical, spelling and citation errors
Major corrections which entails substantive changes that a slight correction will not rectify. The accompanying notice shall detail the exact changes alongside an ‘Editor’s Note’ linking Res Pvblika’s readers to the full notice.
Notice of Retraction which will be implemented only in rare circumstances, and shall typically be the result of an unaccounted issue of ethics and breaches in intellectual property. It shall henceforth be omitted from any of Res Pvblika’s database and consequently bear a notice of retraction detailing the rationale for removal.
